Dedicated to the 19 Rangers/Delta Force killed and over 70 wounded in the worst battle US soldiers had seen since the Vietnam war. Also dedicated to those who survived and refused to leave no man behind even if it meant risking their life to go after a ill-fated soldier. The little known event on Oct. 3rd, 1993 in Mogadishu, Somalia - the basis for the movie Black Hawk Down. Where a 39 minute opp went sour and turned into a 15 hour battle. (also to the soldiers who continue to stand up for honor, morality and courage).

yeah, i wish it would've came out a bit dirtier - would have been more true to the actual event. figured on 9-11 i'd honor another tragedy, not as widely known

Thank you for using my pictures in such an awesome way. I am so very honored that you honor my fellow
brothers in arms who lost their lives in Somalia. I only hope that I can do them justice and fill their shoes

aww well thank you. it was very hard to find military stock so I honestly couldn't have done this one without ya . and yeah, there's something about the sheer love of good men out there in situations. I can honestly say i don't think i could have that much courage. just hope more make more things right in the future :)
